Barron Wood Distribution – the UK road haulage specialists – are experts at providing top quality logistics, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We provide a wide range of services including tautliner, box van, rigid vehicles and flat trailers and temperature controlled trailers for transporting all types of cargo.

We can handle anything from 1 to 26 pallet orders for same day or next day delivery. We are able to quote and manage small or large contracts in any part of the country.

We manage a large fleet of vehicles with the ability to provide logistic distribution services throughout the UK and Inner and Outer Hebrides, Isle of Wight and Jersey.

With the head office Preston, Lancashire and depots in Glasgow, Scotland and Newport, South Wales, we can offer total UK transport solutions.

Employing over 25 people, we move around 250 loads per day throughout the UK and all our vehicles are fitted with mobile phones and many are fitted with GPS satellite tracking systems which enables us to keep our customers in touch with their deliveries.

We are fully conversant with the current chep pallet system.

The administration / customer services department is located in our new purpose built office in Preston, Lancashire where all proof of delivery notes are centrally scanned and can be forwarded onto customers at any time or viewed on a specialist internet system.
